“If our aim is to wake up for the benefit of ourselves and other living beings, then it’s necessary for us to change. . . . challenging times give us the greatest opportunity for change. Every time we catch ourselves going down the rut of a habitual reaction, we have a chance to interrupt the momentum and discover a whole new direction and depth to our life. ”
IN-PERSON or ZOOM PSYCHOTHERAPY SESSIONS
I believe that therapy is a sacred space that allows for a deep exploration of who you are. At this time my major focus is working with those facing life-threatening illness, death and dying, grief, loss and sorrow as well as those wanting to have greater intimacy with death as a pathway towards greater vitality and joy with life.
I work at the intersection of somatic psychotherapy and mindfulness. Therapy with me is not following a manual. We follow an alive moment-to-moment unfolding. Some people see me because they are experiencing symptoms in their lives such depression or anxiety, chronic or life-threatening illness (or a loved one), experiencing loss or grief, or are looking to find relief from symptoms related to trauma. In addition, many find their way to to me looking for help managing what feels unmanageable in a stressful and fast-paced world, and are looking for greater intimacy, meaning and connection in their life.
Our work together will be about both curiosity and deep inquiry. Please reach out to discuss how we might work together.
